The attention of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has been drawn to a fraudulent scheme involving a fake email address impersonating the President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institute.
The scammer(s) behind this malicious activity are targeting NIPR members, associates, and members of the general public, urgently requesting financial assistance, loans, or monetary contributions under false pretences.
⚠️ IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS
To ensure the security of our community, please take note of the following:
- No Financial Requests: The President of NIPR will never contact individuals via personal or unverified emails to solicit money, loans, or personal financial favours.
- Official Channels Only: All official communications regarding NIPR dues, levies, or events are routed through the website, official Secretariat channels and verified institutional emails, never via random or suspicious email handles.
- Verify Before You Act: If you receive any email, WhatsApp message, or phone call claiming to be from the NIPR President asking for money, do not engage, do not reply, and do not send funds.
