NIPR President Honoured As Climate Action Ambassador
On Wednesday, July 17, 2024 NIPR President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku was honoured as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Climate Action Ambassador.
The conferment at the 2024 Tree Planting and Climate Action Summit of the university with the theme: "Tree-mendous Action for a Sustainable Future" was also in recognition of NIPR's frontal role in climate preservation.
The Ag. Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha applauded Mr. President for exceptional mobilisation of State Chapters of the Institute during the 1st June nationwide tree planting exercise, a climate action executed by NIPR.
This and others she said earned Mr. President the prestigious honour.
