Dangote Group Receives Presidents of Global Alliance, NIPR ...Confirms Participation at 2026 WPRF

As Nigeria steps up preparations to host the world, the President and CEO of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has confirmed his participation at the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) scheduled to hold from 15th – 22nd November, 2026, in Abuja, Nigeria.

Dangote gave assurance of his participation on Saturday in Lagos when he received a delegation from the Public Relations community led by President of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Prof. Justin Green.  

In his remarks, Green lauded Dangote for his remarkable and impactful investments across Africa, saying that WPRF provides a credible platform for the Africa's foremost entrepreneur to share his thoughts on global business ecosystem along other confirmed international speakers during the programme.

The Global Alliance President, who is currently in Nigeria on official working visit to assess level of preparation towards the 2026 WPRF informed that the decision to invite the business titan as a speaker for the global event was based on his visible developmental strides in various sectors of the Africa’s economy, noting that there is need for prominent Nigerians to invest in the WPRF project, which he described as “national re-branding project” for Nigeria.  

Earlier in his presentation, President of the NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, said that the 2026 WPRF, with the theme "Responsible Communication: the Voice of the World" remains a reputation project that will redefine Nigeria’s perception before the global community, emphasizing that the country has a chance to tell her true story to the world.

“Our promise that Nigeria will host the biggest, brightest and boldest World Public Relations Forum ever in the history of Global Alliance is a statement that Africa, and Nigeria in particular, has all it takes to lead the world and we are firmly committed to it. This event offers our country rare opportunity in a lifetime to shape global conversations on topical issues and I am glad at the level of progress recorded so far. However, we still need the support of all Nigerians, corporate bodies and government at all tiers to deliver this important international assignment”, he said.
