NIPR 60th Anniversary Dinner/Award night on Thursday, June 27 presented opportunity to reward excellence and hard to notable individuals and organisations who have in one way or the other made immense contribution to nation-building.

Categories included, Diamond Icons, Diamond Prizes, Diamond Lifetime Award, Diamond Award for Excellence in Professional Service, Diamond Ambassadors of Brand Nigeria, Diamond Award for Varlour, Excellence in Professional Compliance and Lifetime Achievement Award which was won by the President of Global Alliance, Prof. Justin Green.

Former Head of State and Commander-in-Chief, General Dr. Yakubu Gowon (Rtd) won Diamond Icon of National Integration award.

Also, Former Nigerian First Lady and Founder, Women for Change and Development Initiative, Dame Dr. Patience Goodluck Jonathan.

The Diamond Icon of Good Governance went to Former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana.

The colourful and historic event at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja had in attendance, former Vice President of Liberia, Jewel Howard-Taylor, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, President and Founder Brekete Family, Ordinary Dr. Ahmed Isah, Chairman/CEO Air Peace Ltd, Chief Dr. Allen Onyema and several others.
