NIPR President Speaks As Panel Discussant At Police Youth Summit
The President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku on Monday, August 12, 2024 joined other eminent Nigerians to grace the Police Youth Summit which had as its theme, "Enhancing the Nigerian Youth’s Value for National Security Intelligence".
Mr. President spoke as a panel discussant at the event in Abuja organised by the Nigeria Police Force in collaboration with UNESCO. The summit is part of the activities marking the United Nations International Youth Day, 2024.
While applauding President Bola Tinubu for giving youths opportunity to be part of the country's governance system, the NIPR boss also urged for increased government investment in the welfare and development of young people.
He further tasked leaders at all levels to strive and build trust with the youth community.
"Nigerian youths are one of the very bests in the world, but they need to earn your trust. Once they trust you, they can follow you to any level. As leaders, we must give Nigerian youths the opportunity to trust us. That is all they need to follow", he advised.
